Carlos McCoy's "High Octane Latin Jazz Band"  Multi-cultural and multi-generational, the band features some of the best young and seasoned musicians in Sacramento and the San Joaquin Valley. The Latin Band specializes in the music of Cal Tjader, Poncho Sanchez, Eddie Palmieri, Perez Prado and other Afro-Cuban artists in the Latin jazz genre. With its high energy music, exciting rhythms, delicious harmonies, burning solos and group vocals, the group is sure to get audiences on their feet. The music of the Latin Band combines the power and excitement of dance rhythms with the soul and complexity of jazz music to create a mesmerizing show that will make an unforgettable and exciting experience for audiences. Since 2013, the band has performed for the Tahoe Food and Wine Festival, the Crocker Art Museum concert series, the Jazz on the Green concert series, Sacramento Kings corporate event, Capitol Public Radio, Mondavi center's "Taste" series, and various other wineries, and private events. The Latin  Band is available for medium to large events or festivals.
